Since it opened in 1925, Punggak Farmers' Market has been the trade center of the Punggak region, used as a place for residents to exchange information. On market days, the market opens in the early morning, and closes at five o'clock in the afternoon. It is famous for specialties such as red peppers native to Punggak, Chasan watermelons, Cheongdo Bansi (seedless persimmon), Cheongdo peaches and onions.
